SSC Constable Syllabus & Exam Pattern 2020:
Aspirants should go through the exam pattern before they start their preparation. Candidates refer the exam pattern before viewing the syllabus. Also, check the selection process of SSC Constable exam given below.
Selection Procedure:
SSC Constable selection involves three steps as follows.
- Computer Based Exam (CBT)
- Physical Standard Test
- Medical Standard Test
SSC Constable CBT Exam Pattern 2020:
The paper-I(CBT) exam is scheduled to be conducted from 27/11/2020 to 14/12/2020. SSC Constable Paper-I exam consists of 4 sections. A total of 100 questions each question carries 1 mark and for each wrong answer, 0.25 get reduced. The duration of the exam will be 90 Minutes. Candidates who qualify in the CBT will be allowed or the Physical Standard Test.

Computer Fundamentals:

- Communication (Basics of E-mail, Sending/receiving of Emails and its related functions).
- Internet, WWW and Web Browsers (Internet, Services on Internet, URL, HTTP, FTP, Web sites, Blogs, Web Browsing Software, Search Engines, Chat, Video conferencing, e-Banking).
Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT):
Physical Endurance Test for male candidates including ex-servicemen and Departmental candidates is listed below. Candidates who qualify in the race will be eligible to appear in Long jump and then High Jump. The Long Jump and High Jump are to be cleared in any one of the three chances given to a candidate.

Physical Measurement Test:
Physical Measurement Test will be taken only of those candidates who qualify the Physical Endurance Tests. Candidates who qualified in the MT selection will be appointed for the posts. The Commission will not entertain any representation / appeal / RTI Applications / CPGRAMs against the decision of PE&MT and Medical Examination.
