SSC Stenographer 2024: Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC Stenographer 2024 Notification on 26/07/2024. Important Dates of SSC Stenographer 2024 Notification:

Applications must be filed online. Only online submission of applications is permitted. The table includes the date and time for the online application. Candidates must submit their applications before the deadline. Applications submitted after the deadline won’t be considered. 17th August will be the last date to apply.

SSC Stenographer 2024 Vacancy:

SSC Stenographer Age limit:

The age limit for the posts of Stenographer Grade C and Stenographer Grade D in various Ministries/Departments/Organizations are given below. Candidates must be under the following age restriction. The age limit for the SSC Stenographer Exam is given below.

Stenographer Grade ‘C’: Candidates born not before 02/08/1994 and not later than 01/08/2006 are eligible to apply.

Stenographer Grade ‘D’: Candidates should have the following age limit as on 01/08/2024. Candidates born not before 02/08/1997 and not later than 01/08/2006 are eligible to apply.

Age Relaxation:

Educational Qualification (as on 01/08/2024):

The candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

Skills:

• Only those candidates who have skills in Stenography are eligible to apply.

Selection Process:

1. Online Exam (CBT: Computer Based Test)
2. Skill Test
3. Document Verification

Application Fee:

Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan. Female candidates or candidates of Scheduled Caste (SC), a Scheduled Tribe (ST), or an Ex-Serviceman (ESM) are not required to pay a fee.

Nationality / Citizenship:

A candidate must be either –

• a Citizen of India or
• a subject of Nepal or
• a subject of Bhutan or
• a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
• People of Indian Origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Afganistan, Kenya, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam.

2. On the Home Page Click -> Apply Now -> New User / Register Now.
3. New User: Candidates must register themselves using their active email ID and Password.
4. After registering, candidates may log in using their registration number and password.
5. Users who have previously registered may log in & apply directly.

7. Candidates must correctly fill out all of the information requested on the application form.
8. No changes can be made after the form has been submitted.
9. Photographs of the candidate must be uploaded in JPEG format.
10. Candidates can pay their application fee online / generation of offline Challan / through Challan (during working hours of Bank).
11. Read the payment instructions carefully and proceed with your payment.
