Selection Procedure:
IBPS PO selection involves three steps as follows.
- Online Preliminary Exam
- Online Main Exam
- Personal Interview

a. Online Preliminary Examination

Note:
- The test will be bilingual, i.e. English and Hindi.
- All questions will be of objective type with five options.
- For each wrong answer, there will be 0.25 marks detected from the total marks.
- But unanswered questions will not carry any negative marks.
- There will be a sectional as well as an overall cut-off.
c. Personal Interview
Candidates who qualified in the mains exam will be called for the Personal Interview.

- The minimum qualifying marks in the interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC / ST / OBC / PWBD candidates).
- The weightage (ratio) of Online Main Examination and interview will be 80:20 respectively.
- The final results will be based on combining the scores of the main exam and the interview.
