Age limit (as on 30/09/2022):
Candidates must be under the following age limit in order to be considered for the positions. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST category and 3 years for OBC (Non-creamy layer) category. Departmental candidates (employees of SAIL) will be given a relaxation of 10 years.

Educational Qualification:
1. Assistant Manager (Safety)
- B.E./B.Tech. in any branch with 2 years of working experience.
- PG Degree / Diploma in Industrial Safety.
- Knowledge in Odia language.
2. Non-Executive Posts
- Candidates must have completed Matriculation with 03 years Diploma in relevant field.
- One year experience is required for Mining Mate, Fireman-cum-Fire Engine Driver (Trainee) and Surveyor posts.
3. Fire Operator (Trainee)
- Any Graduate Degree with 03 years Diploma in relevant fields.
Selection Process:
The selection will be based on
- Computer Based Test
- Skill Test / Trade Test
- Interview
Fire Operator (Trainee) and Fireman-cum-Fire Engine Driver (Trainee):
- Computer Based Test
- Physical Ability Test (PAT)
Exam Pattern:
- The question paper will be of objective type.
- The test will include 100 questions in total.
