Northeast Frontier Railway has released the NFR Recruitment 2022: Apprentice Posts notification. Notification is out to engage 5636 Vacancies for imparting training in the designated Trades under the Apprentices Act 1961 at Workshops/Units in the jurisdiction of N.F. Railways. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 01/06/2022 to 30/06/2022. Pay Scale:
- Selected candidates will be given a monthly stipend as per Government Rules.
Age limit (as on 01/04/2022):
Candidates must satisfy the given age limit as on 01/04/2022 to be eligible for the posts. Check the age limit given below. The candidates should not be less than 15 years of age and not more than 24 years of age.

Age Relaxation:

Educational Qualification:
- The candidate must have passed 10th in 10+2 examination system with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board.
- Candidates must also possess National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training / State Council for Vocational Training.
Selection Process:
The selection will be based on
- Merit Marks
The Merit List will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in 10th (minimum 50%) + ITI Marks. There will be no written test or viva.
Application Fee:
Candidates must pay the application fee online. Check the application fees in the below table. No fee is required to be paid by SC / ST / PWD / Women Applicants. Once the online application is complete in all respects at RRC/NFRs website www.nfr.indianrailways.gov.in candidates will be directed to the payment gateway to make payment.

- Candidates must apply ONLINE by visiting RRC/NFC www.nfr.indianrailways.gov.in
- Visit the ‘General Info’ section then go to Railway Recruitment Cell GHY.
- New users must register using their active email id and mobile number.
- After registering, candidates may log in using their registration number and password.
- Candidates should fill in all the details asked in the application form correctly.
- Candidates must upload a scanned copy of their photograph & signature in the prescribed format.
- After Clicking FINAL SUBMIT,
- Pay the application fee through online mode only.
- Print the Application form for future reference.
