Pay Scale:

  • Assistant Professor: 1,01,500 to 1,67,400/- per month.

Age Limit (as on 20/04/2020):

The upper age limit is 50 years.

Educational Qualification:

1. Dermatology:

  • A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in the part-II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in the subsection (3) of section 13 of the Act.
  • A Postgraduate qualification e.g MD or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline / subject.
  • Three years teaching and /or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
  • The candidate must be registered with the Central / State Medical Council.

2. ENT:

  • A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in the part-II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in the subsection (3) of section 13 of the Act.
  • A Postgraduate qualification e.g MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline / subject.
  • Three years teaching and /or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MS or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
  • The candidate must be registered with the Central / State Medical Council.

3. General Medicine:

  • A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in the part-II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in the subsection (3) of section 13 of the Act.
  • A Postgraduate qualification e.g MD or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline / subject.
  • Three years teaching and /or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
  • The candidate must be registered with the Central / State Medical Council.

4. General Surgery:

  • A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in the part-II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in the subsection (3) of section 13 of the Act.
  • A Postgraduate qualification e.g MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline / subject.
  • Three years teaching and /or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MS or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
  • The candidate must be registered with the Central / State Medical Council.

5. Hospital Administration:

  • A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in the part-II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in the subsection (3) of section 13 of the Act.
  • A Postgraduate qualification e.g MD or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline / subject. (OR)
  • Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration from a recognized Institution / University qualification equivalent thereto
  • Three years teaching and /or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
  • The candidate must be registered with the Central / State Medical Council.

6. Medical Oncology:

  • A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in the part-II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in the subsection (3) of section 13 of the Act.
  • D.M (02 years or 03 years or 05 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto in the respective discipline subject.
  • One year teaching and / or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M (02 years or 05 years course recognized after MBBS) in the respective discipline / subject or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the 03 years recognized degree of D.M or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
  • The candidate must be registered with the Central / State Medical Council.

7. Nephrology:

  • A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in the part-II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in the subsection (3) of section 13 of the Act.
  • D.M (02 years or 03 years or 05 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto in the respective discipline subject.
  • One year teaching and / or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M (02 years or 05 years course recognized after MBBS) in the respective discipline / subject or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the 03 years recognized degree of D.M or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
  • The candidate must be registered with the Central / State Medical Council.

8. Neurosurgery:

11. Radiotherapy:

  • A Postgraduate qualification e.g MD or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline / subject.
  • Three years teaching and /or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
  • The candidate must be registered with the Central / State Medical Council.

12. Surgical Oncology:

  • A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in the part-II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in the subsection (3) of section 13 of the Act.
