Educational Qualification:

1. Joint Director (Entomology)

  • ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: The Aspirants must be a M.Sc Graduate in Entomology or Nematology / in Agriculture with specialization in Entomology or Nematology / Zoology with specialization in Entomology or Nematology from a recognized University or Institutions
  • EXPERIENCE: The Aspirants must have 10 years practical experience in work relating to Entomology or Nematology in the Central Government / State Government of Union Territories or public Sector Undertakings /  Semi Governments or Autonomous or Statutory Organizations or Agricultural Universities or Recognized Research lnstitutions or Councils.
  • DESIRABLE: Aspirants with Doctorate degree in Entomology or Nematology from a recognized University or Institutions are preferred.

2. Joint Director (Chemistry)

  • ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: The Aspirants must be a M.Sc. Graduate in Agriculture Chemistry / Chemistry with specialization either in Organic Chemistry or in Analytical Chemistry from a recognized University / Institutions.
  • EXPERIENCE: The Aspirants must have 10 years practical experience of work relating to analysis of Pesticides using modern sophisticated analytical instruments such
    as Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, High performance liquid chromatography, Gas Liquid Chromatography, etc. in Central Government / State Government University / in an Autonomous / Statutory / Semi Government Organizations or in any recognized
    Research Institutions or Council.
  • DESIRABLE: Aspirants with Doctorate degree in Agricultural Chemistry / Doctorate degree in Chemistry (with research work on pesticides related subjects) from
    a recognized University are preferred.

3. Joint Director ( Plant Pathology)

  • ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: The Aspirants must be a M.Sc. Graduate in Plant Pathology/in Agriculture with specialization in Plant Pathology / in Botany with
    specialization in Plant Pathology from a recognized University or
    Institution.
  • EXPERIENCE: The Aspirants must have 10 years practical experience in the field of study of diseases related to plant virus and plant bacteria detected in domestic and foreign plant in the Central / State Government / Public Sector
    Undertakings or Union Territories Administration / Semi Governments / Autonomous / Statutory Organisation / Agricultural Universities / recognized Research Institutions /
    Councils.
  • DESIRABLE: Aspirants with Doctorate degree in Plant Pathology or
    recognized University or Institution are preferred.

4. Deputy Director (Plant Pathology)

  • ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: The Aspirants must be a M.Sc. Graduate in Plant Pathology/ in Agriculture with specialization either in Plant Pathology / in
    Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology from a recognized
    University or institutions.
  • EXPERIENCE: The Aspirants must have 3 years practical experience in the field study of domestic/ foreign plant diseases related to plant virus and plant bacteria.
  • DESIRABLE: Aspirants with Doctorate degree in Plant Pathology from a recognized University are preferred.

5. Deputy Director (Weed Science)

  • ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: The Aspirants must be a M.Sc. Graduate in Agriculture(Agronomy) with specialization in Weed Science / in Botany with Weed Science as a subject, from a recognized University or Institutions.
  • EXPERIENCE: The Aspirants must have 5 years practical experience in the field of Weed Science / Weed Control under the Central or State Governments or public
    Sector Undertakings or Union Territory Administrations or Semi Governments or Autonomous or Statutory Organization or Agricultural Universities or Recognized Research Institutions or Councils.
  • DESIRABLE: Aspirants with Doctorate degree in Agronomy with specialization in Weed Science from a recognized University are preferred.

6. Deputy Director (Chemistry)

  • ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: The Aspirants must be a M.Sc. Graduate in Agricultural Chemistry / in Chemistry with specialization either in Organic Chemistry / in Analytical Chemistry from a recognized University or Institutions.

  • ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: The Aspirants must be a B.Sc. Graduate in Chemistry / M.Sc. Graduate in Chemistry from a recognized University.
  • EXPERIENCE: The Aspirants with B.Sc. (Chemistry) must have 3 years experience in packaging plus Certificate Course in Packaging from a recognized Board / University / Institute. Whereas, M.Sc. (Chemistry) Graduates from a recognized University with 1
    year experience in packaging plus Certificate Course in Packaging from a recognized Board / University / Institute.
  • DESIRABLE: Aspirants with 2 years experience in regulations related with dangerous and hazardous goods, tariff and codes of practices for bulk and unit pack
    distribution of pesticides and related chemicals.The Departmental Plant Protection Officer (Packaging and Processing) with 3 years of regular service in the Pay
    Matrix(44900-742400) are preferred.
