Educational Qualification:

1. Professor

• The Aspirants should have a Medical qualification included in the first / second Schedule / Part II of the third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section13 (3) of the Act.)
• DEPARTMENTS: (Anatomy / Anaesthesiology / EMSD / Medicine / Obstetrics & Gynaecology / Orthopaedics / Pharmacology / Radio-diagnosis / Radiation Oncology / Surgery) :The Aspirant should have Postgraduate qualification i.e. MD/MS in Anatomy / Anaesthesiology / Emergency Medicine / Medicine / Obstetrics & Gynaecology / Orthopaedics / Pharmacology / Radio-diagnosis / Radiation Oncology / Surgery or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline or subject.
• DEPARTMENTS: ( Urology) The Aspirants should have M.Ch. in Urology (two years or three years or five years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
• DEPARTMENTS: (Nephrology / Medical Gastroenterology) The Aspirants should have DM in Nephrology / Medical Gastroenterology (two years or three years or five years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto
• DEPARTMENT: ( Medical Education & Telemedicine) The aspirants should have a Doctorate Degree (Ph.D.) from a recognized University / Institute.

2. Assistant Professor

• The Aspirants should have a Medical qualification included in the first / second Schedule / Part II of the third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section13 (3) of the Act.)
• DEPARTMENTS: (Anatomy / Anaesthesiology / EMSD / Medical Education & Telemedicine / Professor of Medicine / Obstetrics & Gynaecology / Orthopaedics / Pharmacology / Radio-Diagnosis / Radiation Oncology / Surgery) Same as mentioned in Professor.
• DEPARTMENTS:  (Dermatology (Skin & STD) / Geriatric Medicine / Paediatrics / Pathology / Pulmonary Medicine / Community Medicine) The aspirants should have a Postgraduate qualification, e.g. MD in Dermatology (Skin& STD) / Geriatric Medicine / Paediatrics / Pathology / Pulmonary Medicine / Community Medicine  or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline or subject.
• DEPARTMENT:(Cardiology) The aspirants should have a DM in Cardiology (two years or three years or five years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
• DEPARTMENTS: (ENT / Ophthalmology) The aspirants should have a Postgraduate qualification, e.g. MS in ENT / Ophthalmology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline or subject.
• DEPARTMENTS: (Paediatric Surgery / Surgical Oncology / Urology) The Aspirants should have a M.Ch. in Paediatric Surgery / Surgical Oncology / Urology (two years or three years or five years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Experience:

1. Professor

• Should have 11 – 14 years experience in teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution differs as per their respective departments.

2. Assistant Professor

• Should have 1 – 3 years experience in teaching and/or research experience in a
  recognized institution differs as per their respective departments.
