Indian Space Research Organisation U R Rao Satellite Centre has announced the ISRO URSC Technician Recruitment 2020 notification on 15/02/2020. Notification is out for 182 posts such as Technician-B, Draughtsman-B, Technical Assistant, Library Assistant, Scientific Assistant, Hindi Typist, Catering Attendant-A, Cook, Fireman ‘A’, Light Vehicle Driver-‘A’, Heavy Vehicle Driver-‘A’ in Bengaluru. Educational Qualification:

1. Technician-B:

Candidates should be completed SSLC / SSC / Matriculation and ITI / NTC / NAC in relevant trade from NCVT.

2. Draughtsman:

Candidates should be completed SSLC / SSC / Matriculation + ITI / NTC / NAC in Draughtsman Mechanical trade from NCVT.

3. Technical Assistant:

Candidates should be completed first class Diploma in a relevant Engineering discipline from a recognized State Board.

4. Library Assistant:

Candidates should be completed Graduate + first-class Master’s degree in Library Science / Library & Information Science or Equivalent from recognized University / Institution.

5. Scientific Assistant:

Candidates should  be completed first-class Graduate in B.Sc (Chemistry / Physics / Animation & Multimedia / Electronics) from a recognized University / Institution.

6. Hindi Typist:

Candidates should be completed Graduation in / Arts / Science / Commerce / Management / Computer Applications with first-class and Hindi typing on the computer with 25 words per minute speed.

7. Catering Attendant-A:

Candidates should be SSLC / SSC pass or it’s equivalent.

8. Cook:

Candidates should be SSLC / SSC pass or it’s equivalent and 05 years experience in a similar capacity as a cook.

9. Fireman ‘A’:

Candidates should be SSLC / SSC pass or it’s equivalent and Should satisfy the prescribed physical fitness standards and endurance test standards.

10. Light Vehicle Driver-‘A’:

• Candidates should be SSLC / SSC pass or it’s equivalent.
• 03 years of experience as a Light Vehicle Driver.
• Candidates must possess a valid LVD license.
• Any other requirement of the Motor Vehicle Act of Karnataka State should be met within 3 months from the date of joining the post.
• Total prescribed experience should be after obtaining a valid Driving license.
• Experience Certificate should only be from Government / Semi-Government agencies / Registered Companies / Societies / Trusts, etc. Experience Certificates from individuals will not be accepted.
• Part-time experience will not be considered for the calculation of a number of years of experience.
• Candidate should possess the requisite qualification, experience and requirement of public service badge as on the last date of receipt of online application.

11. Heavy Vehicle Driver-‘A’:

• Candidates should be SSLC / SSC pass or it’s equivalent.
• 05 years experience, out of which minimum of 03 years as Heavy Vehicle Driver and the balance period driving experience of a light motor vehicle.
• Candidates must possess valid HVD license and Public Service Badge, if statutory (In case Public Service Badge is not mandatory in any State, a candidate from such State(s) should meet this requirement within 3 months of joining the post in Karnataka).
• Total prescribed experience should be after obtaining a valid Driving license.
• Experience Certificate should only be from Government / Semi-Government agencies / Registered Companies / Societies / Trusts, etc. Experience Certificates from individuals will not be accepted.
• Part time experience will not be considered for calculation of a number of years of experience.
• Departmental LVDs who meet the norms are eligible to compete, if they so desire, along with external candidates.
• Candidate should possess the requisite qualification, experience and requirement of public service badge as on the last date of receipt of online application.

Selection Process:

The selection will be based on the:

1. Online Exam
2. Skill Test
3. Endurance Test
4. Driving Test.

• The Online registration of applications will be available on the ISRO website: www.isro.gov.in
• Online registration starts from 15/02/2020  to 06/03/2020
• Candidates should have a valid email-id and mobile number.
• Candidates fill the online form with all the relevant correct details.
• Candidates should upload the photograph with Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels and the size of file should be between 20kb–50k.
• After the successful submission of the online application by the candidate, a unique registration number shall be generated by the system.
• After submitting the Online Recruitment Application, the candidates are required to take out a print out of the finally submitted Online Recruitment Application.
