IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2020 – 500 Posts

Indian Oil Corporation Limited has announced the IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2020 notification on 22/02/2020. Notification is out for 500 Apprentice posts in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa and Dadra & Nagar Haveli. Eligible candidates can apply online from 22/02/2020 to 20/03/2020. Educational Qualification:

1. Technician Apprentice (Mechanical):

Candidates should be completed 03 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from recognized Institute / University with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates & 45% in case of SC / ST candidates against reserved positions.

2. Technician Apprentice (Electrical):

Candidates should be 03 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized Institute / University with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates &
45% in case of SC / ST candidates against reserved positions.

3. Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation):

Candidates should be 03 years Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering from recognized Institute / University with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate for General & OBC
candidates & 45% in case of SC / ST candidates against reserved positions.

4. Technician Apprentice (Civil):

Candidates should be 03 years Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized Institute / University with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates & 45% in case of SC / ST candidates against reserved positions.

5. Technician Apprentice (Electrical & Electronics):

Candidates should be 03 years Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from recognized Institute / University with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates & 45% in case of SC / ST candidates against reserved positions.

6. Technician Apprentice (Electronics):

Candidates should be 03 years Diploma in Electronics Engineering from recognized Institute / University with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates & 45% in case of SC / ST candidates against reserved positions.

7. Trade Apprentice (Fitter):

Candidates should be regular full-time ITI (Fitter) recognized by NCVT / SCVT.

8. Trade Apprentice (Electrician):

Candidates should be regular full-time ITI (Electrician) recognized by NCVT / SCVT.

9. Trade Apprentice (Electronics Mechanic):

Candidates should be regular full-time ITI (Electronics Mechanic) recognized by NCVT / SCVT.

10.Trade Apprentice (Instrument Mechanic):

Candidates should be regular full-time ITI (Instrument Mechanic) recognized by NCVT / SCVT.

11.Trade Apprentice (Machinist):

Candidates should be regular full-time ITI (Machinist) recognized by NCVT / SCVT.

12. Trade Apprentice-Accountant:

Candidates should be regular full-time Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates and 45% in case of SC / ST / PwBD candidates for reserved positions from a recognized Institute / University.

13. Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentices):

Candidates should be Class XII or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates and 45% in case of SC / ST / PwBD candidates for reserved positions from a recognized Board / Institute.

14. Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Skilled Certificate Holders):

Candidates should be Class XII or its equivalent with Skill Certificate holder in ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’ with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates and 45% in case of SC / ST / PwBD candidates for reserved positions from a recognized Board / Institute.

Selection Process:

The selection will be based on the:

  1. Written Examination
  2. Document Verification.

Pattern for the Written Examination:

  • The Written Test will comprise of 100 questions with Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions.
  • The time duration is 90 minutes.
  • The questions would be in bilingual i.e. English & Hindi.

  • Candidates should apply through online mode only.
  • Candidates first register as a Trade Apprentice online at www.apprenticeship.gov.in
  • After registration candidate should note the User name and Password.
  • And then apply in the IOCL official website: www.iocl.onlinereg.in
  • Candidates must have a valid Email ID and Mobile Number and must be valid for at least 01 year as all future communications with candidates.
  • Candidates keep a copy of the printout of the online application form for reference.
  • Candidates apply any one trade / discipline only.
  • Candidates using their Application number and Date of Birth for downloading admit cards from the website.
  • The candidate should have the scanned copies of self-attested photocopies of the following documents in pdf / jpg format:
    • Xth std / SSLC / Matriculation certificate / mark sheet issued by the concerned Education Board as proof of Date of Birth.
    • Certificate of the prescribed Educational Qualification-ITI.
    • Caste certificate if applicable.
    • Signature in black ink.
    • Recent color passport size photograph.
  • Candidates shall fill the required details and submit the online application form.
