Age limit:

The upper age limit is 35 years for men and 40 years for women.

Educational Qualification:

1. Designing 3-D printed foods for personalized nutrition (GAP – 040):

Ph.D. in Food Process Engineering / Food and Agrl. Process Engineering / Food Science and Technology / Biotechnology / Nanotechnology / Chemical Engineering (or) Master’s degree in any of the above disciplines with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least three years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship / Associateship / Training / other engagements and one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) / NAAS rated (>4.0) Journal as per OM SR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dated.30.01.2019.

2. Development of non-dairy synbiotic food to ensure food safety and combat hidden hunger deficiency (GAP – 042):

M.Tech / M.Sc. degree (4 yrs of UG + 2 yrs of PG) in Food Process Engineering / Food Science & Technology / Biotechnology / Chemical Engineering / Nanotechnology (or) M.Sc. degree (3 yrs of UG + 2 yrs of PG) in the above disciplines with NET and 2 years of research experience.

3. Active Intelligent Packaging system with antimicrobial agents for fruits and vegetables (GAP-044):

M.Tech / M.Sc. degree (4 yrs of UG + 2 yrs of PG) in Food Process Engineering /Food Science and Technology / Food Technology / Processing and Food Engineering / Food Science and Nutrition / Packaging Technology / Chemical Engineering / Electronic Engineering / Biotechnology (or) M.Sc. degree (3 yrs of UG + 2 yrs of PG) in the above disciplines with NET and 2 years of research experience.

4. Shelf-life enhancement in millets (GAP-049):

M.Tech / M.Sc. degree ( 4 yrs of UG + 2 yrs of PG) in Food Process Engineering / Food Science and Technology / Processing and Food Engineering / Food Technology / Food Science and Nutrition / Packaging Technology / Biotechnology OR M.Sc. degree (3 yrs of UG + 2 yrs of PG) in the above disciplines with NET and 2 years of research experience.

5. Technical Assistance to Director (DTA):

M.Tech / M.Sc. degree ( 4 yrs of UG + 2 yrs of PG) in Food Science / Food Technology / Chemical Engineering / Food Process Engineering / Food Technology and Management / Food Process Engineering and Management / Food Plant Operations and Management / Food Safety and Quality Management / Food Supply Chain Management / Biotechnology / Nanotechnology / Agricultural Engineering OR M.Sc. degree (3 yrs of UG + 2 yrs of PG) in the above disciplines with NET and 2 years of research experience.

6. To develop packaging material using ground nut-shell (SRP-022):

B. Tech in Food Process Engineering / Food Technology / Agricultural Engineering / Food science and nutrition (or) M.Sc. in the above-related disciplines.

7. Enhance the shelf life of selected green leafy vegetables (SRP-023):

B. Tech in Food Process Engineering / Agricultural Engineering / Food Technology / Food science and nutrition/Biotechnology (or) M.Sc. in the above-related disciplines.

The selection will be based on the:

  1. Written Examination
  2. Interview.
