Vacancy Details of ICMR – NIRT Laboratory Technician Recruitment:

Job Profile:

1. Biotechnologist-NRL:

NTEP related activities including molecular testing, genetic sequencing and analysis of resistant mycobacterial strains.

2. Biomedical Engineer:

Monitoring and maintenance of equipment in NRL’s and IRLs under NRL NIRT.

3. Data Analyst:

Data entry and analysis involved in NTEP; including wage of NIKSHAY 7 LMS applications.

4. Senior Laboratory Technicians:

To assist NTEP in microscopy, collection and transportation of samples / cultures, manufacturing of panel slides and culture and DST.

Educational Qualification:

1. Biotechnologist-NRL:

• Candidates should be completed Ph.D. in Biotechnology / Molecular Biology with three years of work experience in TB Bacteriology / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology. (OR)
• Candidates should be completed M.Sc. Biotechnology / Molecular Biology with five years of work experience in TB Bacteriology / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology.

2. Biomedical Engineer:

Candidates should be completed B.E / B.tech in Biomedical Engineering with three years of work experience in the relevant field.

3. Data Analyst:

• Candidates should be completed a Degree in computer application with two years of work experience in a related field.
• Candidates should be proficient in data analysis and statistical packages.

4. Senior Laboratory Technicians:

• Candidates should be completed M.Sc. Medical Microbiology / Applied Microbiology / General Microbiology / Biotechnology/Biochemistry with or without DMLT with three
  years of work experience in TB Bacteriology. (OR)
• Candidates should be completed B.Sc. Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Chemistry / Life Science with or without DMLT with five years of work experience in TB Bacteriology.

1. Written Exam
2. Interview.
