Pay Scale:
Candidates finally selected for the appointment will be given a salary as per Government Rules. Check the below table for salary details.

Age limit:
Candidates should satisfy the following age limit. The category wise age limits are given below.

Age Relaxation:
- 10 years – PwD candidates.
- 5 years – serving Civilian Central Govt. employees working in posts which are in the same line or allied cadres and where a relationship could be established that the service already rendered in a particular post will be useful for the efficient discharge of the duties of the advertised positions.
- The upper age limit is relaxable for Ex-servicemen including Ex SSCOs/ECOs as per the rules in vogue.
Educational Qualification:
1. Electronics & Communication Engineering
- First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics & Communication Engineering with
- Valid GATE score in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
2. Mechanical Engineering
- First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical Engg with
- Valid GATE score in Mechanical Engineering
3. Computer Science & Engineering
- First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Computer Science & Engg with
- Valid GATE score in Computer Science & Engg
4. Electrical Engineering
- First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electrical Engg from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Valid GATE score in Electrical Engg.
5. Material Science & Engg / Metallurgical Engineering
- First Class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Metallurgy from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Valid GATE score in Metallurgical Engineering.
6. Physics
- First Class Master’s Degree in Physics from a recognised university or equivalent.
- Valid GATE score in Physics.
7. Chemistry
- First Class Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognised university or equivalent.
- Valid GATE score in Chemistry.
8. Chemical Engg
- First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Chemical Engg from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Valid GATE score in Chemical Engineering.

Application Fee:
Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable non-transferable application fee only online. There is no application fee for SC / ST / Divyang and Women candidates.
- 100 – General / OBC / EWS male candidates.
