Qualification:
1. Senior Assistant Engineer (Kavaratti & Port Blair)
- Educational Qualification: Ex-servicemen retired / serving officers retiring shortly from Army / Air Force / Navy personnel with 3 years Diploma in Engineering or equivalent in Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Tele Communication / Electrical discipline in the rank of JCO or equivalent. First class for General & OBC candidates and Pass class for SC/ST candidates.
- Experience: Aspirants should have 15 years or more relevant post qualification experience in working with Defense Electronic Equipment during their tenure in Defense Service. Candidates with experience in having worked in NSRY (Port Blair) or with BEL Equipment will be given preference.
2. Senior Assistant Engineer (Kochi)
- Educational Qualification: Ex-servicemen retired / serving officers retiring shortly from Navy with 3 years Diploma in Engineering or equivalent in Electronics& Communication / Electronics / Telecommunication / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electrical / Electrical & Electronics. First class for General & OBC candidates and Pass class for SC / ST candidates.
- Experience: Navy personnel retired / retiring shortly having 15 years or more relevant post qualification experience in the rank of JCO or equivalent. Must have a minimum of 12 years of experience in handling Weapon Systems / Electronics Systems / SONARs /
Communication Systems on-board Ships / Submarines / Dock Yard. - Desirable: Work experience on board submarines will be an added advantage.
