Notification is out to engage 152 Vacancies such as Rifleman GD, Havildar Operator, Clerk and other posts in the Assam Rifles under the Compassionate Ground Appointment Scheme. Educational Qualification:
1. Rifleman General Duty (GD)
- Candidates must have passed 10th standard from a recognized Board.
2. Havildar Clerk
- Candidates must have passed 10th / 12th from recognized Board / University or equivalent.
3. Warrant Officer Radio Mechanic (RM)
- 10th from a recognised board with diploma in Radio and Television Technology or Electronics or Telecommunications or Computer or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Domestic appliances from any institution recognised by the Central Government or the State Government. OR
- 12th Standard or Intermediate or equivalent with aggregate marks of fifty percent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised board or University or Institution.
4. Havildar Operator Radio & Line
- 10th from a recognised board and two years Industrial Training Institute in Radio and Television or Electronics from a recognised institute.
- 12th class pass or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects of study from a recognised Board or University or Institute.
5. Rifleman Armourer
- The candidates must have passed 10th standard from a recognized Board.
6. Rifleman Laboratory Assistant
- The candidates must have passed 10th standard with English, Maths, Science and Biology from a recognized Board.
7. Rifleman Nursing Assistant
- The candidates must have passed 10th standard with English, Maths, Science with Biology from a recognized Board.
8. Rifleman Washerman
- The candidates must have passed 10th standard from a recognized Board.
9. Rifleman AYA
- The candidates must have passed 10th standard from a recognized Board.

- Physical Efficiency Test
- Written Test
- Skill Test
- Medical Examination
