Vacancy Details of RPSC Recruitment 2022: Senior Teacher Posts

Rajasthan Public Service Commission has released 417 Vacancies for the Senior Teacher posts. Check subject wise distribution in the below table. Candidates who are interested to apply for the Senior Teacher Posts shall go through the vacancy details on the given table.

Age limit:

Candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 01/07/2022. Candidates must satisfy the given age criteria to be eligible for the posts.

Age Relaxation:

Age relaxation for different categories is applicable as per RPSC norms.

• SC / ST / OBC / MBC and EWS (Male) of Rajasthan State and Women (Gen): 05 years
• SC / ST / OBC / MBC and EWS (Female): 10 years
• Widow and divorcee Women: No upper age limit

Educational Qualification:

1. Sanskrit

• Candidates should have completed Shastri or an equivalent traditional Sanskrit examination with Sanskrit medium, and Shiksha Shastri / Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by National Council for Teacher Education.

2. Hindi / English / Maths 

• Graduate or equivalent examination with the concerned subject as Optional Subject, and
  Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by National Council for Teacher Education.

3. Science

• Graduate or equivalent examination with at least two of the following subjects as Optional Subjects:- Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Micro Biology, Bio Technology and Bio Chemistry and Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by National Council for Teacher Education.

4. Social Science

• Graduate or equivalent examination with at least two of the following subjects as Optional Subjects:– History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Public Administration and Philosophy, and Degree or Diploma in education recognized by National Council for Teacher Education.

Selection Process:

The selection will be based on two stages

1. Written Exam (Paper-I)
2. Written Exam (Paper-II)

Exam Pattern:

The Exam will be conducted in two stages i.e. paper-I, paper-II & paper-III. Candidates can check the detailed exam pattern below.

Paper – I

1. The question paper will carry maximum 200 marks.
2. Duration of the question paper will be 2.00 hours.
3. The question paper will carry 100 questions of multiple choices.
4. Paper shall include following subjects:-
   (i) Geographical, Historical, Cultural and general knowledge of Rajasthan.
   (ii) Current Affairs of Rajasthan
   (iii) General knowledge of world and India
   (iv) Educational Psychology.

Paper – II

1. The question paper will carry maximum 300 marks.
2. Duration of question paper will be 2 Hours 30 Minutes
3. The question paper will carry 150 questions of multiple choices
4. Paper shall include following subjects carrying the number of marks as shown against them :-
   (i) Knowledge of Praveshika and Varistha Upadyaya standard about relevant subject matter.
   (ii) knowledge of Shastri standard about relevant subject matter.
   (iii) Teaching methods of relevant subject.

Paper – III

1. The question paper will carry maximum 300 marks.
2. Duration of question paper will be 2 Hours 30 Minutes.
3. The question paper will carry 150 questions of multiple choices
4. Paper shall include following subjects carrying the number of marks as shown against them:-
   (i) Knowledge of secondary and senior secondary standard about relevant subject matter.
   (ii) knowledge of graduate standard about relevant subject matter 80 marks
   (iii) Teaching methods of relevant subject.

Application Fee:

Candidates must pay the application fee online. Only after submitting the application fees, the online application will be accepted.

• Click RPSC Online ->Apply online link.
• Complete the One Time Registration (OTR) in the Recruitment Portal.
• After the registration, candidates will receive an application I.D. to the registered email id or phone number.
• Login using Application I.D. / Register Number and Password.
• Fill in the online application form with the correct details.
• Upload all the required documents in the prescribed format.
• Read the payment instructions carefully and complete the payment online.
• Take a printout of the application for future reference.
