Educational Qualification:
1. Agniveer General Duty (All Arms):
- Class 10th / Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For boards following grading system of D grade (33% – 40%) in individual subjects or equivalent of grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate in C2 grade or equivalent corresponding to 45% in aggregate.
2. Agniveer Technical:
- 10+2 / Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with min 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject. OR
- 10+2 / Intermediate exam pass from any recognized State Education Board or Central Education Board to include NIOS and ITI course of minimum one year in required field with NSQF level 4 or above.
3. Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper (Technical):
- 10+2 / Intermediate Exam Pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject.
- Securing 50% in English and Maths / Accounts / Book Keeping in Class XII is mandatory.
4. Agniveer Tradesman (All Arms) 10th Pass:
- Class 10th simple pass.
- No stipulation in aggregate percentage, but should have scored 33% in each subject.
5. Agniveer Tradesman (All Arms) 8th Pass:
- Class 8th simple pass.
- No stipulation in aggregate percentage, but should have scored 33% in each subject.
Selection Process:
The selection for the Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2022 will be based on the following stages
- Physical Standard Test
- Physical Measurement Test
- Medical Test
- Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE)
- Document Verification

Agnipath (Agneepath) Scheme:
What is Agnipath scheme?
- Agnipath scheme: The Agnipath (Agneepath) scheme was introduced to recruit candidates as soldiers to serve the nation as Agniveers through enrollment in the Armed Forces.
- It is a Pan India merit based recruitment.
- Candidates recruited under this scheme will be known as Agniveers who will serve in the forces for 4 years including training for six months.
What is Seva Nidhi Package?
- On completion of the service period, the soldiers will receive a tax free service fund package of 11.71 lakh as Seva Nidhi Package.
