National Chemical Laboratory has announced the CSIR – NCL Project Assistant Recruitment 2019 notification on 13/12/2019. Notification is out for 02 Project Assistant (PA-II) posts on a purely temporary basis under the CSIR –Jigyasa Student Scientist Connect Program project. Eligible candidates can apply through online before 30/12/2019. Job Profile:

Project Assistant – PA-II (1):

• To assist in developing science-based documents, articles, conducting and organizing the outreach activity, content development for website / webpage for outreach, search,
  compile relevant information, assist in organizing events and training programs.
• The candidate is also expected to assist in managing / carrying out other administrative work.

Project Assistant – PA-II (2):

• To assist in conducting and organizing the outreach activity, develop and maintain website / webpage for outreach, search, compile relevant information, assist in organizing events and training programs.
• The candidate is also expected to assist in managing/carrying out other administrative work.

Pay Scale:

Project Assistant-II: 25,000/-month

Age limit:

The upper age limit is 30 years.

Educational Qualification:

1. Project Assistant – PA-II (1):

• Candidates should be completed Masters’ degree in Science Communication or Journalism or Masters’s degree in Science subject with a diploma in journalism with a minimum of 55% marks.
• Having knowledge of science writing will be an added advantage.

Desirable Experience:

• Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in journalism with a passion for science writing or experience of at least 6 months as an intern or having work experience.
• Fluency in English speaking and writing.

2. Project Assistant – PA-II (2):

• Candidates should be completed MCM / MCA / MCS or recognized Masters degree in software development / computer programming or similar recognized software development degree having programming knowledge with a minimum of 55% marks.

Desirable Experience:

• Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in software development and data management and working experience in HTML5, Bootstrap CSS, Bootstrap JS, PHP Version 7.2.5 and Mysql Database will be helpful.
• Fluency in English speaking and writing.

Selection Process:

The selection will be based on the Interview.

• Original certificates / mark-list and one copy to be produced at the time of the interview.
• The candidates shortlisted by the Screening Committee for being called for an interview would be notified on the Notice Board on the NCL Main Gate on 02/01/2020.
• The shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for an interview before the Selection Committee in Catalysis meeting room (Main Building), ground floor, of the Laboratory at 11.00 a.m. on 06/01/2020.
