Educational Qualification:
1. Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage:
- Candidates should be completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) (OR)
- Candidates should be completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. (OR)
- Candidates should be completed Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed). (OR)
- Candidates should be completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education) (OR)
- Candidates should be completed Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
2. Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage:
- Candidates should be completed Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). (OR)
- Candidates should be completed Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). (OR)
- Candidates should be completed Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. (OR)
- Candidates should be completed Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed). (OR)
- Candidates should be completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A / B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed. (OR)
- Candidates should be completed Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education) (OR)
- Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to

Selection Process:
The selection will be based on the Examination.
Application Fee:
- Candidates should pay through online.
- Candidates pay through E-Challan by depositing the prescribed fee in CTET Exam Fee Account with Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank.

How to Apply for CBSE CTET July 2020 Examination:
- Candidates should apply through online.
- The Online registration of applications will be available on the CBSE website: www.ctet.nic.in
- Online registration starts from 24/01/2020 to 24/02/2020
- Candidates should have a valid email-id and mobile number.
- Go to the link “Apply Online” and open the same.
- Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration No. / Application No
- Upload Scanned Images of the latest Photographs and Signature.
- Size of scanned photograph should be between 10 to 100 KB
- Size of scanned signature should be between 3 to 30 KB
- Pay Examination Fee by e-challan or debit / credit card and net banking.
- After successfully applied, candidates should take the print-out of the application form for future reference.
