Educational Qualification:
1. Professor
- Post Graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or equivalent in the respective discipline/subject.
- Fourteen years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
2. Additional Professor
- Post Graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or equivalent in the respective discipline/subject.
- Ten years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. /M.S .or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
3. Associate Professor
- Post Graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or equivalent in the respective discipline/subject with 6 years experience.
- D.M. in the respective discipline/subject for medical super specialties and M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject for surgical super-specialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years and 6 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
- Four years of teaching and/or research experience in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M. /M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. or
- Three years teaching and/or research experience in the subject of speciality for the candidate possessing 3 years or post MBBS 6 years recognized degree D.M./M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
4. Assistant Professor
- Post Graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or equivalent in the respective discipline/subject.
- Three years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. /M.S .or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
