Age limit:

The age limit should be between 18 to 25 years.

Age Relaxation:

Educational Qualification:

1. Tradesmen Mate (Erstwhile Mazdoor):

• Candidates should be completed 10th class or equivalent from the recognized University / Board.

2. Firemen (Male candidates only):

• Candidates should be completed 10th class or equivalent from recognized University / Board.
• Desirable: Conversant with the duties of the trade with one year experience in the trade.

3. Junior Office Assistant (Erstwhile LDC):

• Candidates should be completed 10th class or equivalent from the recognized University / Board.

4. MTS (Erstwhile Safaiwala):

• Candidates should be completed 12th class or equivalent from the recognized University / Board.

Selection Process:

The selection will be based on the:

1. Written Test
2. Physical Endurance Test / Skill Test.

• While forwarding the application, the envelope should be clearly marked, “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF Tradesman (Mate) / Junior Office Assistant (Erstwhile LDC) / Fireman (EX-SERVICEMEN / GEN / EWS / PH / MSP / SC / ST / OBC)”
• Candidates are advised to attach self-attested copies of the following documents as applicable along with (Size 12 x 18 cm) one x self-addressed registered envelope with 25/- postage stamps.

1. Birth Certificate.
2. Medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner for physical fitness.
3. Caste Certificate.
4. Education Certificates along with the marks sheets (Matriculation onwards).
5. Photocopy of Discharge certificate for Ex-Servicemen.
6. Disability certificate for physically Handicapped issued by CMO / Civil Surgeon of Govt Hospital.
7. Domicile Certificate (for residents of Jammu UT, Kashmir UT & Laddakh UT availing age relaxation, as applicable).
8. Certificate of the competition for Meritorious Sports Persons where applicable.
9. Two additional passport size photographs.
10. Certificate / undertaking employment in any unit.
11. In the case of Sportsperson, please attach the ‘Sports Certificate’.
12. In case of OBC, please attach ‘Non-Creamy Layer’ certificate
13. Income & asset certificate to be produced by the economically weaker sections.
