I entered the room by knocking door and taking permission. .. Wished mam first and then good morning to all of you sir. !!
They offered me seat. I sat down on the chair. Members from left (m1 , m2 , m3 , m4 and f1)
M4 (this guy asked all questions ): apne bare me Kuch bataiye(Tell me something about yourself)
Me: Told all stuff like born in Lucknow, schooling from Bhopal, B.E. from Vidisha .. Father’s occupation, mother is a home maker.
M4: In which year?
Me: 10th in 2009, 12th in 2011 and Graduation in 2015.
M4: What are the products of bank?
Me: (fumbled) started telling banks functions like payment agents, financial intermediaries.
M4: No beta, tell about loans and accounts !!
Me: Told about different accounts.
M4: What is priority sector lending?
Me: sir, as per directives of GOI and RBI, all banks have to lend a certain % of their ANBC to some vulnerable sectors of economy. This is PSL !
M4: Does export comes in PSL?
Me: Yes sir
M4: What is adjusted net bank credit as you have mentioned?
Me: Sir, banks net credit and it’s investments in non SLR BONDS is ANBC.
M4: What are non SLR bonds?
Me: Sorry sir, I don’t know.
M4: Beta you should not say such words whose meanings you don’t know. ..
Me: Yes sir.
M4: if you are posted in rural area and you receive no deposits from previous 6 months and there are a lot of customers asking for loans what will you do? Will you give them loans or will deny them giving loans or will you make arrangements for giving them loan?
Me: Sir, I will go with the 3rd one.
Then he asked other members to ask but they all denied and finally asked me to go. This conversation lasted for 8 minutes while other candidates were interviewed for about 12-15 minutes. !!
