The Rajasthan Government’s Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation and Adani Enterprises Ltd have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for developing solar parks with a capacity of 10,000 MW in the next ten years. Of these, solar parks of 5,000 MW capacity will be developed in the next five years. The cost of the entire project is estimated to be the range of Rs.80,000-90,000 crore. This will be the largest solar plant in India.
It is estimated that the solar park will produce clean and green energy of about 16,644 million units, furthering India’s goals for clean, renewable energy independence.

- Indian Government has also issued guidelines for setting up at least 25 solar parks each with a capacity of 500 MW and above across India.Â
