Edu-tech firm ELSA Corp appoints Indian Cricketer Ajinkya as its brand ambassador for India, Middle East, ANZ & SAARC

On May 06, 2020, ELSA Corp (English Language Speech Assistant Corporation) India, the education technology company based out of the US (United States), has appointed Indian Test team vice-captain Ajinkya Madhukar Rahane (31) as its brand ambassador for India, Middle East, ANZ (Australia & New Zealand) and SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation).Key Points:

i.Now Rahane will work with company’s mobile app ‘ELSA Speak’ to popularize it among Indian people who want to better their English pronunciation.

ii.About ELSA Speak:

• It is an AI (Artificial Intelligence) powered app uses proprietary speech recognition technology to help language learners in the world improve their English pronunciation.
• It listens learners pronounce words, sentences, or conversations, to give exact errors and real-time feedback on their mistakes with key suggestions on how to improve.
• It aims to reach around 1.5 billion language learners in the world, hence changing their careers and lives. The modern technologies imparted in this app help to detect people’s pronunciation mistakes with 95 % plus accuracy.

iii.ELSA also provided a subscription grant worth Rs. 56 Crores for students in India amid coronavirus (Covid19) outbreak.
