Eight People – Daniel, Danish, Darshan, Deepak, Dilip, Dinesh, Dushyant and Dindayal live in eight different floors of building (but not necessarily in the same order). The lowermost floor of the building is numbered one, the one above that is numbered two, and so on till the topmost floor is numbered eight. Each one of them likes different food items, namely Pizza, Burger, Veg Fried Rice, Egg Noodles, Butter chicken, Chana masala, Paneer butter masala and Mutton Briyani (but not necessarily in the same order).

• Dinesh lives an odd numbered floor above the floor numbered four. Only one person lives between Dinesh and the one who likes Veg Fried Rice.
• Only three people live between Deepak and the one who likes Chana masala. Darshan lives an one of the odd numbered floors above the one who likes Chana masala. Dushyant likes neither Chana masala nor Pizza.
• Only three people live between Dushyant and Daniel. The one who likes Mutton Briyani lives immediately above the one who likes Burger, but not on the topmost floor. The number of people living above Dinesh is same as the number of people living between Dinesh and Deepak.
• Only two people live between Darshan and the one who likes Pizza. The one who likes Paneer butter masala lives immediately above Dushyant.
• Only one person lives between the one who likes Mutton Briyani and Dindayal. Only one person lives between Danish and the one who likes Butter chicken. Dilip does not like Paneer butter masala.

Seven Persons – Aadarsh, Aadesh, Aakash, Aashish, Abhay, Abhijit, and Abhimanyu  – live on separate floors of a seven storey-ed building, but not in the same order. The ground floor of the building is numbered 1, the floor above it 2 and so on until the topmost floor is numbered 7. Each person likes different smartphones – Asus, Lenovo, Intex, Samsung, Micromax, Moto, OnePlus, but not necessarily in the same order.

• The person who likes Samsung lives on floor numbered four. Aadarsh does not live on the lowermost floor. Aadarsh lives on any odd numbered floor below the one who likes Samsung.
• Only two persons live between Aadarsh and the person who likes OnePlus. Only one person lives between Aadesh and Abhijit. Abhijit lives on an even numbered floor and does not like Samsung.
• Only three persons live between the persons who like Asus and Intex respectively. The person who likes Asus live on any floor above the Aadesh’s floor. The person who likes Asus does not live on the topmost floor. Abhimanyu lives on an even numbered floor but neither immediately above nor immediately below the floor of Aadarsh.
• Aakash does not like Asus or Intex. Only two persons live between Aashish and the one who likes Samsung. The person who likes Micromax lives on the floor immediately above the floor of the person who likes Moto.
