Leonard Nimoy, who played the human-alien philosopher and first officer Mr Spock in the Original Star Trek series, has died in Los Angeles. He was 83 years old and was suffering from end-stage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
The Unites States President Barack Obama said “Long before being nerdy was cool, there was Leonard Nimoy. I loved Spock”.
