A. 10000
B. 10500
C. 11500
D. 12000
E. None
C. 11500
Solution:
Male adults = Total No of Males –Total No of Males under 18
(4000+5000+3500+4500+2500) – (1500+2000+2000+1500+1000) = 19500- 8000 = 11500

2. Total No of Females in all States together is how much percent of total No of Males in all States together?
A. 83.2%
B. 84.6%
C. 85.4%
D. 85.6%
E. None
B. 84.6%
Solution:
Females = (3500+2500+3000+3500+4000) = 16500
Males = (4000+5000+3500+4500+2500) = 19500
Percentage = 16500/19500*100 = 84.6%

3. What is the average of No of adult females in all states together?
A. 1500
B. 1600
C. 1800
D. 2000
E. None
C. 1800
Solution:
Female adults = Total no of Females – Total no of females under 18
(3500+2500+3000+3500+4000) – (1000+1000+1500+2000+2000) = 16500 – 7500 = 9000
Average = 9000/5 = 1800

E. 19:15
E. 19:15
Solution:
No of adults in Sikkim : (Male + Female )adults = 4000-1500+3500- 1000 = 5000
No of adults in Meghalaya : (Male + Female )adults =5000-2000+2500- 1000 = 4500
No of adults in Nagaland : (Male + Female )adults = 3500-2000+3000- 1500 = 3000
No of adults in Assam : (Male + Female )adults = 4500-1500+3500- 2000 = 4500
Ratio of(Sikkim+Meghalaya) : (Nagaland+Assam) = 19:15
