1. – Quash – अमान्य घोषित करना

Meaning – reject as invalid, especially by legal procedure.

Usage – “his conviction was quashed on appeal”

Synonyms – cancel, reverse, rescind, repeal, revoke, retract, countermand, withdraw, take back, rule against, disallow, overturn, override, overrule, veto, set aside, overthrow, repudiate, annul, nullify, declare null and void, invalidate, render invalid, negate, void, abrogate; vacate; archaicrecall.

2. – Pariah – अछूत

Meaning – an outcast

Usage – “they were treated as social pariahs”

Synonyms – outcast, persona non grata, leper, reject, untouchable, undesirable; rareunperson.

3. – Encore – पुनरावृत्ति

Meaning – a repeated or additional performance of an item at the end of a concert, as called for by an audience.

Usage – “everybody got up on stage for the final encore”

Synonyms – repeat performance, extra performance, additional performance, replay, repeat, repetition; curtain call.

4. – Eclat – शोभा

Meaning – brilliant display or effect.

Usage – “he finished his recital with great éclat”

5. – Disinter – खोदकर निकालना

Meaning – dig up (something that has been buried, especially a corpse).

6. – Decamp – डेरा छोड़ना

Meaning – leave a place suddenly or secretly.

7. – Felony – घोर अपराध

Meaning – a crime regarded in the US and many other judicial systems as more serious than a misdemeanour.

Usage – “he pleaded guilty to six felonies”

8. – Traitorous – नमकहराम

Meaning – relating to or characteristic of a traitor; treacherous.

Usage – “when his traitorous actions were discovered, he was imprisoned”

Synonyms – treacherous, disloyal, treasonous, back-stabbing; double-crossing, double-dealing, faithless, unfaithful, perfidious, two-faced, Janus-faced, false-hearted, duplicitous, deceitful, false, untrue, untrustworthy, unreliable, undependable, fickle; informaltwo-timing.

9. – Fatuous – बुद्धिहीन

Meaning – silly and pointless.

Usage – “a fatuous comment”

Meaning – a chain or manacle used to restrain a prisoner, typically placed around the ankles.
