  1. Quantity 1: A spends 50% of his monthly income on household items and out of the remaining, he spends 50% on transport, 25% on entertainment, 10% on sports and remaining amount of Rs. 1000 is saved. What is A monthly income?
Quantity 2: B spends 50% of his monthly income on household items and out of the remaining, he spends 50% on transport, 20% on entertainment, 15% on sports and remaining amount of Rs. 1000 is saved. What is B monthly income?
    1.Quantity 1 >Quantity 2
    2.Quantity 1 <Quantity 2
    3.Quantity 1 ≤Quantity 2
    4.Quantity 1 ≥Quantity 2
5.Quantity 1 =Quantity 2 or No relation can be established
    Answer – 5.Quantity 1 =Quantity 2 or No relation can be established
    Explanation :
Let A’s monthly income be Rs. 100
Then, money spent on household’s item
    =100×50/100 = Rs. 50
    Remaining amount = 100 – 50 = Rs. 50
    Money spent on transport
    =50×50/100 = Rs. 25
    Money spent on entertainment
    =50×25/100 = Rs. 12.5
    Money spent on sports
    =50×10/100 = Rs. 5
    ∴ Last remaining amount
    = 100 – (50 + 25 + 12.5 + 5)
    100 – (92.5) = Rs. 7.5
∴ Rs. 7.5 is saved, when total income is Rs. 100
∴ Rs. 1 is saved, when total income =100/7.5
Q1: Now, Rs. 900 is saved, when total income
    =100/7.5×1000
    = 100 × 120
    = Rs. 13333
Let B’s monthly income be Rs. 100
Then, money spent on household’s item
    =100×50/100 = Rs. 50
    Remaining amount = 100 – 50 = Rs. 50
    Money spent on transport
    =50×50/100 = Rs. 25
    Money spent on entertainment
    =50×20/100 = Rs. 10
    Money spent on sports
    =50×15/100 = Rs. 7.5
    ∴ Last remaining amount
    = 100 – (50 + 25 + 10 + 7.5)
    100 – (92.5) = Rs. 7.5
∴ Rs. 7.5 is saved, when total income is Rs. 100
    Q2: =100/7.5×1000
    = 100 × 120
    = Rs. 13333
