The Indian capital city was the busy-hub of activities on Tuesday, as the news that “Arun Jaitley launches FM transmission of Vividh Bharati Service of Delhi” started spreading.
The channel will be available in 60-Kms radius around the Delhi-NCR-region. One can access the network through Mobile/smart-Phone, Car/vehicle-Stereo-sets and also the Web. The channel is available at 100.1-MHZ/Medium-Wave-1368-KHZ.
About Vividh Bharti
- Vividh-Bharti came into existence in the year 2-October-1957. It was primarily to beat the competition from Ceylon-radio.
- Today, the Fm-Version of the Delhi-Channel broadcasts entertainment-programs including film-songs, short-drama, family and social-related issues etc.
- A completely dedicated Transmission-system with a capacity of 10-KW has been installed in Delhi for this purpose.
