Railways RRB ALP 2018: Detailed Syllabus to Kickstart your Preparation Journey

Railway Recruitment Board has recently announced 26502 vacancies for hiring Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) & Technicians.Â The last date of online application has been extended to 31stÂ March 2018. Here is the detailed syllabus that will help all aspiring candidates to kick start their exam preparation journey. Part A:

Part B:

• Qualifying Mark: 35 % (This is applicable to all candidates and no relaxation is permissible).
• This part is qualifying in nature and shall have questions from theÂ trade syllabusÂ prescribed by Director General of Employment & Training (DGET).Â

Computer Based Aptitude Test

(Only for candidates who have opted for ALP)

• The candidate needs to secure a minimum score ofÂ 42 marks in each of the test batteries toÂ qualify. This is applicable to all candidates and no relaxation is permissible.
• The ALPÂ merit listwill be drawn only from the candidates qualifying in the Aptitude Test, with 70% weightage forÂ the marks obtained in the Part A of Second Stage CBT and 30% weightage for the marks obtained in Computer BasedÂ AT.
