ISRO to Launch Delayed M3M (Maritime Monitoring and Messaging Micro-Satellite) Satellite for Com Dev in 2015. Previously Com Dev International had signed a contract for the M3M satellite with Russian Soyuz in June 2014. Due to the Ukraine issue, a new deal was signed with Antrix, the commercial arm of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).
At the inauguration of the International Astronautical Congress in Toronto on Monday, Canada announced that Antrix would be given the contract for the July 2015 launch of its M3M communications satellite.
The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) has assisted Com Dev in securing the new launch and attended the ceremony for the agreement.
