     This river link project proposes to provide drinking and industrial water in 13 districts of eastern Rajasthan, Malwa and Chambal regions of MP.
     The overall cost of the PKC river link project is Rs 72,000 crore, which includes Rs 35,000 crore for MP and 37,000 crore for Rajasthan.
     The centre provides 90% of the funds for the project while states contribute only 10%.

     GoI has allocated Rs 48,000 crore for the 100 cities under SCM in Union Budget .
