Mizoram Launches ‘Mizo DiasporaHub’ Portal to Connect Global Diaspora
In July 2025, the Chief Minister (CM) of Mizoram Lalduhoma launched the ‘Mizo DiasporaHub’, a digital platform aimed at connecting and engaging with Mizo communities residing outside Mizoram, both across India and abroad, during an event held at Aijal Club in Aizawl (Mizoram).
- The internet portal was developed by the Mizo Diaspora Cell under the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) in collaboration with LushAITech Private Limited.
i.The portal serves as a central digital platform to connect Mizos across the globe and strengthen communication among welfare associations.
ii.It also aims to improve coordination for collective welfare efforts and offer support to community members facing difficulties abroad.
iii.The platform offers key features such as a directory of registered Mizo welfare associations, details of Mizo gathering centres and office bearers, Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled automatic translation services, and SOS (Save Our Soul/Ships) alert functions for emergency communication.
