- Who are facing away from the centre?
A) D, A and P
B) A and P
C) A and D
D) D and P
E) Cannot be determinedC) A and D
Explanation:
Note that two adjacent persons can face the centre but two adjacent persons cannot away from centre.
S and Q face each other. This means they are facing centre facing each other. Start with this.
Now Q is immediate left of D. There can be two arrangements for this:
You can also get the right arrangement in your first attempt, but if not then follow all arrangements.
Now D is second to right of A:
Now continue one by one with all possibilities to put D as second to the right of R. [Remember no two adjacent persons away from centre]. You will see that only 3rd arrangement does not give any contradiction. Continue with this - Who sits to the immediate right of D?
A) Q
B) B
C) R
D) S
