The third edition of ‘Aqua Aquaria India’, the largest aquaculture-cum-aquariculture show in Asia, is held in Vijayawada Andhra Pradesh. The three-day event, to be inaugurated by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, is going to be the biggest in the series with a target of 300 plus stalls and 20,000 delegates.
Leena Nair, Chairperson of the Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) which is organising the event, told reporters the conference and exhibition will be attended by at least 20,000 delegates and 300 institutions will display their products at stalls.
The event is aimed at exposing the aqua farmers and farmers growing ornamental fish to use the latest technologies in the sector across the globe. Special field visits by the experts practices were also arranged. ‘Aqua Aquaria’ is one of the best expos on the marine products across the globe as 30 international experts will be the part of the event to share their knowledge and skills with the fish farmers.
