Pranathy Gangaraju of Georgia has been crowned as Miss India USA 2014.  The Indian USA Pageant has been organized annually from 1980 by the Indian Festival Committee (IFC) based in New York, USA. It is conducted for Indian origin girls who are residents of the United States of America. This contest is considered the oldest running Indian pageant away from India.Â
Pranathy Ganaraju , 19 majors in the field of Film Acting and Production. She was crowned by the outgoing 2013 winner Monica Gill. The 33rd annual pageant was organised by IFC which was headed by Dharmatma Saran. Pranathy is to represent USA in the 24th Annual Miss India Worldwide Pageant organised by IFC which is to be held in Goa, India on June 2016.
Monica Shah 24, of Florida and Angela Nand 27, of Hawaii were awarded first and second runners respectively. 21 contestants from various parts of the country participated in the event.

Riya Kaur of New Jersey was crowned Miss Teen India USA and Namita Dodwadkar of Massachusetts was also crowned the First Ever Mrs India USA in the same contest.
