The Fourth edition of Blind Cricket World Cup for the year 2014 was won by India. The Indian team defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets. The Indian team successfully chased the Himalayan  target of 390 runs in 39.4 overs.
The Blind Cricket World Cup was inaugurated in 1998.
The Cricket Association for the Blind in India is run by the Samarthanam trust, a Bangalore-based NGO dedicated to the promotion of sports for the physically challenged.
