Key points

1.Time Management: This is the most important and crucial thing. If you can time the time well you can easily crack PRE. Almost all the questions are solvable but require different time frame, now its upto you which one you choose to go for.Keep a check on the amount of time you take for a particular question and do not spend too much of your time on any question, instead move on to the next question.

2.Speed:You must attempt the question paper in two rounds. While attempting each section – first attempt the questions, for which you are sure and which can be done in less than a minute. Leave tougher questions for the second round. This way, you will not miss any easy question in the paper and will be able to optimize the score.

3.Accuracy:There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. Hence accuracy plays an important role. For now you will be well aware of your strong and weak areas and accuracy in those areas. Try to attempt those questions in which you are sure of your answer.

You will have to clear cutoff of each and every section along with the overall cutoff in order to Qualify for MAINS.
