On 20th April 2020, The Government of Rajasthan has partnered with MedCords, a healthcare startup to provide online consultations and to deliver medicine to the people of Rajasthan to control the COVID-19 pandemic. MedCord will provide the requirements of over 68 million people throughout Rajasthan through its integrated solution – Aayu and SehatSathi app.Key Points:
i.The aim of the startup is to provide access to quality healthcare in urban and rural India.
ii.MedCord is fully adopted in 7 districts of Rajasthan (Kota, Udaipur, Sri Ganganagar, Bikaner, Ajmer, Pali and Jaipur).
iii.The consultation and delivery of medicine for more than 10,000 patients at free of cost by the startup through the network of SehatSathi.
iv.The service is provided through the app and the helpline number – 7816811111 supports Hindi and English language. The helpline number helps the feature phone users to consult doctors from anywhere in India.
v.The application “Aayu” – provides a platform for the patients to consult the doctors, get their history quickly and order their medicines from a nearby medical store. The app also contains a built-in comprehensive coronavirus guide for the users.
