1. – Umpteen
Meaning – indefinitely many; a lot of.
Usage – “you need umpteen pieces of identification to cash a cheque”
2. – Snide
Meaning – derogatory or mocking in an indirect way.
Usage – “snide remarks about my mother”
Synonyms – disparaging, derogatory, deprecating, deprecatory, denigratory, insulting, vituperative, disapproving, contemptuous; mocking, taunting, ridiculing, sneering, jeering, scoffing; scornful, derisive, sarcastic, caustic, biting, bitchy, shrewish, spiteful, hurtful, nasty, mean; informalsarky; raremordacious.
3. – Echelon
Meaning – a level or rank in an organization, a profession, or society.
Usage – “the upper echelons of the business world”

Meaning – something which acts as a stimulus or boost to an activity.
