Airports Council International(ACI) World has honoured Six Indian Airports with the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards 2021 under the Asia Pacific Category. The 6 airports were adjudged as the Best Airports by Size and Region based on data from ASQ’s Departures and Arrivals Surveys.
- The Chandigarh Airport (Chandigarh) has been adjudged as the Best Hygiene Measures by Region under the Asia Pacific Category.
- The ASQ Awards were presented by ACI World in partnership with global travel technology company Amadeus.

About ASQ Awards:
The ASQ Awards, launched in 2006, are an annual award of ACI World that recognizes airport excellence in customer experience worldwide based on data from ASQ’s renowned Departures and Arrivals Surveys.
ASQ Awards 2021:
i.The ASQ Awards 2021 are presented in 2 categories: Best Airports by Size and Region and Best Hygiene Measures by Region.
ii.A total of 110 awards have been won by 87 individual airports around the world.
iii.The ASQ Awards 2021 have recognised the airports based on the data collected in 2021 from over 370,000 surveys.
iv.The new hygiene category award complements ACI’s Airport Health Accreditation program, which helps airports align their health measures with global standards.
v.The winners of the ASQ 2021 will be honoured at the award ceremony on 14th September 2022 in Karakow, Poland during the ASQ Forum & ACI Customer Experience Global Summit.
