On October 29, 2019, The President of India, Mr Ram Nath Kovind conferred the 1st Edition of National Corporate Social Responsibility Awards (NCSRA) for 2019 along with Finance Minister Smt Nirmala Sitharaman in New Delhi. The jury recommended 19 winners and 19 honourable mentions across the 3 award categories, out of the 528 entries received for NCSRA.

About the Award:
The NCSRA has been instituted by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs to recognize outstanding contribution in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to achieve inclusive growth and inclusive and sustainable development. These awards are the highest recognition in the domain of CSR by the Government of India and were instituted in 2017 subsequent to the recommendations of the High Level Committee on CSR.
