Let me tell u a thing, it is not at all difficult to clear the Prelim exam. The main thing you need to note is that just do not get panic after watching any new questions that you don’t know.
You all know that the marks of Prelim exam are not going to get counted, so what do you want? Not excel, just take the cutoff marks and that’s all.

The sections which are going to be asked in the exam:

SectionNo. of QuestionsMax. MarksTime Duration
English3030
1 Hour
Quants3535
Reasoning3535
Total100100

There are 60 minutes for these 3 sections and carry 1/4th negative marking for each incorrect answer.

Start with English section. Safest attempts are 14-16 for English Section. Accuracy is important.
Next do the Reasoning or Quant section as per your plan. Safest attempts are 18-20 for Reasoning Section and in safest attempts are 14-16 for Quant section.

You all must have made your own plan. Only follow your own strategy. Do not change it at the time of exam or by listening to other people at the centre. Many people do this change and they are not able to complete the questions they can do.
If you see any question taking more time, do not stick to the question. Just leave it, might be next two questions are very easy which might be left because of that stupid question taking more time. Try to find the easy questions and solve them
Go with your own strategy which you applied in mock tests.

ACCURACY should be the main aim along with maximum attempts.

Do not forget to take the Admit Card with photograph affixed, Photo Identity Proof in original and a photo-copy of it (Ration Card and E-Aadhar Card are not accepted). Your name in ID Proof must exactly match with the one you have in your Admit Card.
