On 6th April 2021, Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor (Lt G) of Jammu & Kashmir(J&K) launched 2 mobile applications, тАЬHamari SadakтАЭ, тАЬTameer TaraqqiтАЭ and JK Public Works- Online Management, Monitoring and Accounting System (JKPW-OMMAS) to strengthening the e-Governance structure and to bring transparency in the system.
- The online initiatives were developed through the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), J&K e-Governance agency and the IT department.
- The apps and portal were developed by the Public Works Department – Roads & Buildings (R&B).
Features of the Mobile Apps:
i.Hamari Sadak allows the residents to register and track their grievances regarding the Public Works department.
ii.Tameer Taraqqi ensures the effective supervision of development projects through data updated by field staff.
About JKPW-OMMAS:
i.The portal will enable complete online management and monitoring of infrastructure with various functionalities like geo-tracking and dynamic update.
ii.This will enable the complete automation of human resource activities through online employee details besides updating employee information.
Features:
The portal will strengthen the grievance management system and make it responsive by covering important features like online registration, tracking and monitoring the grievances.
