Google acquired Facebook mobile marketing startup Toro, which is best known for its Facebook ad campaigns. Toro is led by Amitt Mahajan and Joel Poloney. The company used to go by the name of Red Hot Labs. The acquisition will shift Toro’s focus away from Facebook. Toro will continue to optimize campaigns and update dashboards for existing marketing customers.
Toro is based in San-Francisco, USA. It offers services and tools to help the developers to market their apps on social media platforms like Facebook or Twitter. The Founders Amitt Mahajan and Joel Poloney previously co-founded MyMiniLife, which played a key role in the creation of FarmVille (acquired by Zynga)
