According to data by World Health Organisation, every year, around 1.1 million TB cases (out of total 2.8 million TB cases) remain unreported and are thereby missed from treatment. The door-to-door campaign is expected to plug this slippage. Tuberculosis (TB) is a contagious disease which affects the lung and is caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB).
