On November 13, 2019, the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR)-Institute of Microbial Technology (IMTECH), Chandigarh has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) in New Delhi with Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) to promote collaborative research.Focus: Through this MoU both the institutes will exchange ideas, develop new knowledge and enhance high quality research. The main aim of this MoU is to carry out research in areas of healthcare.
Key Points:
i.MoU signing: The MoU was signed by Prof. Milind Atrey, Dean of Research & Development(R&D) from IITB and Dr. Manoj Raje, Officiating Director CSIR-IMTECH.
ii.The MoU was in line with the circular issued by the MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development) of 2018. The circular insisted for a collaboration for all the IITs to sign MoU with national research laboratories affiliated to CSIR
