On October 7, 2020 In order to offer their customers the facility to book train tickets on amazon, Amazon India has partnered with Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). Amazon.in has waived the service and payment gateway transaction charges for the introductory period.
Note– Amazon Pay, with this launch has added another travel category, thus offering its customers a one-stop-shop to book flights, bus and train tickets.

The customers on their 1st train ticket booking will get a 10% cashback of up to Rs 100 and prime members can avail 12% cashback up to Rs 120Â for these bookings.
Only for a limited period this offer is available.
Amazon App
Customers with this new offering can check seat and availability of quota across all the train classes on the Amazon app.
Payment
Customers can make payments in a single click, by pre-loading money into their Amazon Pay Balance wallet.
In addition to this, customers can also use Amazon Pay ICICI credit card or any other digital payment method to make payment.
Instant Refund
Those who pay with Amazon Pay Balance will also get instant refund, in case of cancellations or booking failures.
Self Service Options
Amazon.in offers its customers a variety of self-service options like live checking of PNR status (for tickets booked on Amazon only) and download tickets booked on Amazon.
