Digital Redressal: Government’s E-Jagriti portal resolves over 1.27 lakh cases: MoCAFPD
In November 2025, the Department of Consumer Affairs (DoCA)’s Unified Digital Platform, e-Jagriti, which enables consumers to file and track grievances with all consumer commissions, had attracted over 2.75 lakh registered users.

Inclusive Features: The platform’s inclusive features include multilingual interface, chatbot assistance, voice-to-text support for visually impaired and elderly users, and end-to-end encryption which enhance accessibility, transparency, and user security.
Salient Features: It integrates consumer grievance platforms such as Online Case Monitoring System (OCMS), E-Daakhil, the National Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission (NCDRC) and Computerisation and Computer Networking of Consumer Forums (CONFONET) on a single platform.
Key Highlights
Non-Resident Indians (NRIs): The OTP (One Time Password) registration feature of e-Jagriti enables NRIs to file complaints, make digital payments, participate in virtual hearings, exchange documents online, and track cases in real time, eliminating the need for physical presence in India.
- The 2.75 lakh registered users include around 1388 NRIs.
Major Participation: The maximum number of NRI complaints have originated from the following countries:
- United States of America (USA) – 146 complaints
- United Kingdom (UK) – 52
- United Arab Emirates (UAE) – 47
Complaints: As of November 13, 2025, a total of 1,30,550 complaints have been lodged nationwide, with high adoption in states like Gujarat (14,758 cases), Uttar Pradesh (UP) (14,050 cases) and Maharashtra (12,484 cases).
India merchandise and services exports rise 4.84% to USD491.8 billion in April–October: MoCI
In November 2025, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) reported that India’s combined merchandise and services exports reached an estimated USD 491.8 billion (bn) in the first seven months of Financial Year 2025-26 (FY26, April–October 2025).
- This reflects a 4.84% increase from USD 469.11 bn recorded during the same period last year.

Imports: The total import during April-October 2025 is estimated at USD 569.95 bn registering a growth of 5.74%.
Exports: The merchandise exports during April-October 2025 were USD 254.25 bn as compared to USD 252.66 bn during April-October 2024.

Imports: The Total imports (Merchandise and service combined) for October 2025 are estimated at USD 94.70 bn, registering a 14.87% growth over October 2024.
Exports: India’s total exports (Merchandise and Services combined) for October 2025 is estimated at USD 72.89 bn, registering a negative (-) 0.68% over October 2024.

GoI Approved 17 Projects with Rs 7,172 Crore Investment under ECMS
In November 2025, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) announced that the Government of India (GoI) has approved 17 new projects with a total investment of around Rs 7,172 crore as part of 2nd tranche under the Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS), aimed to boost the production of electronic goods and their component within the country.
- The announcement of these projects were made during an event titled Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme “The Foundation for a Globally Competitive Electronics Value Chain”, hosted by India Cellular Electronics Association (ICEA) in New Delhi, Delhi.
Key Details of Approved Projects :
Expected Outcome: These newly approved projects are expected to lead the production of components worth Rs 65,111 crore and generate 11,808 direct job opportunities.
State-wise Distribution of Projects: As per the MeitY, the new approved units will be established across 9 States and Union Territory (UT) namely, Karnataka (5), Maharashtra (3), Tamil Nadu (3), and remaining 6 units i.e. one each in Andhra Pradesh (AP), Goa , Gujarat , Jammu & Kashmir (J&K), Uttar Pradesh (UP) and Madhya Pradesh (MP) .
Key Components: Under the 2nd tranche of ECMS, projects approved will manufacture various type electronic components such as: camera modules, connectors, oscillators, enclosures, out of these target production components, Multi-Layer Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) are expected to draw highest investment i.e. worth Rs 3,183 crore.
Launch of India’s 1st-Gen IP-powered SoC: Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has also launched ‘ARKA-GKT1’, India’s 1st Generation (Gen.) Intelligent Power (IP) platform-on-a-chip, designed for high efficiency edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) and smart energy applications.
- This newly launched chip was developed by Cyient semiconductors Pvt. Ltd. in partnership with Azimuth AI.
GoI Granted GI Tag to Gujarat’s Ambaji White Marble

Sixteenth Finance Commission submits its report to President of India: 2026-27 to 2030-31
In November 2025, the Sixteenth Finance Commission (FC) submitted its report for the distribution of net proceeds of taxes between Centre and States for award period 2026-27 to 2030-31 to Droupadi Murmu, President of India.

SBI Report: India’s GDP Growth at 7.5% in Q2 FY26
In November 2025, State Bank of India (SBI) Economic Research Department (ERD) released SBI Research Ecowarp report projecting India’s real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth for the second quarter (Q2) of Financial Year 2025-26 (FY26) (July–September 2025) at 7.5%, surpassing the Reserve Bank of India (RBI)’s estimate of 7% for the same period.
- Based on the estimated model, real GDP growth in Q2 FY2026 ranges between 7.5–8.0%, with Gross Value Added (GVA) projected at 8.0%.

- This new PC was formally launched by K. Siddaramaiah, Chief Minister (CM) of Karnataka at the inaugural ceremony of the 28th edition of Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS) 2025 held in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Overview: Epilepsy is a chronic non-communicable neurological disorder caused by abnormal electrical activity in the brain, resulting in recurrent, unprovoked seizures.
Causes: The condition can arise from factors such as brain injury, tumors, strokes, or neurotransmitter imbalances and can affect people of all ages and backgrounds.
Management: Diagnosis is typically made after two or more unprovoked seizures, and many individuals achieve seizure control with appropriate anti-seizure medication.
Prevalence in India: According to the EFI, an estimated 2 to 5 lakh new cases are diagnosed each year, indicating that epilepsy is far more common in the country than generally perceived.
Global Action Plan: The Intersectoral Global Action Plan on Epilepsy and Other Neurological Disorders 2022–2031, adopted by the 75th World Health Assembly (WHA), recognizes that epilepsy and other neurological disorders share common preventive, pharmacological, and psychosocial approaches that can help strengthen and accelerate services and support for these conditions.
